We used Flying Home when our mum passed away suddenly and they made an incredibly difficult time as easy and painless as possible. There is a lot of admin and processes and forms to sort out at this time and Kathi guided us through this incredibly well with genuine care and compassion. I hope we never need to use them again but I would strongly reccomend Flying Home to anyone that has to deal with this tragic situation - they were amazing in every way.

Living in the USA we had a phone call from the US Embassy in Singapore, advising a relative had passed away while he was visiting Singapore. When needed we telephoned Flying Home to help with this situation.
Kathi became our representative, at Flying Home, and from that time on Kathi was the only person we delt with at Flying Home, which made this horrible happening a seamless occurrence. Over the next week Kathi worked with the US Embassy and the Singapore Police Department to bring our loved one home to the USA.
By the time we had arrived in Singapore, Kathi had obtained all the paperwork needed by Singapore and the US Embassy, to report the death of a US Citizen in Singapore and to transport our loved one home to the USA.
Kathi’s efficiency and professionalism was extremely amazing. Kathi continually had contact with us and explained every step of the way. It seemed like Kathi never slept, he answered questions quickly and there is a 16-hour time difference, between Singapore and the USA.
The total pricing from Flying Home, included claiming the body from the morgue, preparation and cremation, all funeral arrangements, obtaining and filing all needed paperwork from Singapore and the US Embassy, meeting with us for needed signatures and handing over of cremated remains in a sealed urn for travel – and was less money than we expected and I am sure less than would have been charged for the same service in the USA.
Kathi and Flying Home handled our loved one with dignity and caring, like he was their loved one. Flying Home level of service far exceeded our expectations. In Singapore the only other location we had to contact, was the Singapore Police Department to pick-up the personal belongings of our loved one.
Kathi was able to have us make identification of our loved one via pictures. Kathi also sent us pictures of how our loved one was handled with respect, when claimed at the morgue and transferred to the crematorium.
If you need a mortuary in Singapore, we recommend Flying Home, weather you are in Singapore at the time or living outside Singapore.

We're from Jakarta Indonesia, our beloved father recently passed away in Singapore on Saturday morning and the uncle from Flying Home immediately came to the hospital to take care of it. Flying Home handled everything from the transportation, cargo flight, embalming, clean and dress my father, casket, paper works and they prepared a function room to honor my father one last time before leaving Singapore. They're very professional and knowledgeable. They explained clearly all the process and made everything easy so we could grief in peace. It all happened on the weekend but they didn't charge for OT. They packed the casket really nicely. My father arrived in Jakarta safely and everything was in excellent condition. The casket was really elegant and everyone complimented it. Thank you for your service and I would definitely recommend Flying Home to everyone who needs it.

My husband of 56 years died in Singapore after being medically disembarked from a Holland America World Cruise. Kathi, the Operations Manager, was THE best person my son and I could have EVER hoped to meet! He was at the hospital less then a hour after my husband passed and not only was he considerate he was so compassionate and immediately took charge of our situation. He "came to the rescue" and handled everything! I cannot express my complete gratitude at how he turned the worst time of my entire life into a more bearable time. This is our first time having the need to fly home my dad who passed away in Singapore. My dad passed away on Friday night (weekend) within the Moslem Hari Raya break, when the consulate was not active. Thanks to God and the help of a church member, Mr. Ang was available to help us and patiently guide us through out the process then. Within an hour after notification and no prior appointment, Mr. Ang showed up in the hospital, and the senior nurse immediately recognize him. Within a couple of hours, Flying Home managed to bring my dad out from the hospital to their funeral home, and Mr. Ang was so kind to help us until midnight. The next morning, they prepared my dad for the funeral service in their place, before they send my dad to the airlines in the evening. The next morning my dad was transported back home to the local funeral home. The process of bring my dad home went extremely smooth, despite it was a weekend of a big holiday. I can't thank Mr. Ang and his Flying Home team enough for being such an angel helping us during our difficult moments. May God continue to bless Flying Home so that it can continue to become greater blessings to others.
