My experience with Flying Home was exceptional. They helped guide a very difficult task during a very difficult period with great professionalism and expertise. They helped us get my brother home from Thailand to the US for our celebration of life services along with his belongings, and it made what would feel like an impossible task smooth and easy to give us more time to grieve and process. The sudden passing of a loved one is a very difficult period when grief and so many issue hits you. Thankfully when my beloved sister died suddenly while on holiday overseas we were given a list of Repatriation Specialist Companies that we could engage to bring her back to Singapore from the Singapore Consulate in Guangzhou, China. Flying Home was the only Singapore company in that list and we naturally selected them to assist. We are so glad that we made a correct decision, because from the very first phone call to every step of the way, Mr Ang of Flying Home was there with us to make our pain and grief mush lesser with exceptional level of professionalism and guidance. He and his team managed the entire repatriation process in a extremely timely manner and keep us posted of the progress regularly. I was recently and unfortunately required to use the services of Flying Home Pte Ltd funeral home to assist in the repatriation of my deceased step father from Singapore to the UK. They were recommended by the British High Commission in Singapore Singapore. It became clear why this recommendation was made after having experienced their care and sensitive professionalism throughout the difficult process of navigating the death, cremation and subsequent repatriation of a loved one. The team were respectful, compassionate and professional throughout the whole process, and went above and beyond what would be expected of them. They advised on the best courses of action, how to navigate the bureaucratic stages and were wonderfully supportive in assisting us with whatever issues we had. I was faced with the sudden death of my husband here in Singapore. As a foreigner, as well as the shock and the grief, I was overwhelmed with what I needed to do to plan a funeral. Flying Home navigated us through our grief, from complying with the legal obligations owed in Singapore in the event of a death, through to helping me choose a meaningful, beautiful and strengthening service, to arranging the delivery and certification of my husband’s ashes so that I can repatriate them to the UK. Ang took the time to understand who my husband was as a person and he suggested so many personal touches that could be included in the service. This allowed us to express our love for my husband and was so appreciated. Very easy for the client side

Repatriation of loved ones is a service no one looks forward to use, but when needed, it is likely unexpected and will be stressful to the next of kins dealing with unfamiliar bureaucracy on top of having to look after own travel arrangements. My experience with Flying Home (FH) surpasses my expectation taking a huge workload from us while we can focus on other after-life matters. Updates are timely and only given when necessary, their staff is ready to go beyond their duty to ensure repatriation is seamless. For my case, it involved repatriating from a remote city Paro in Bhutan with no daily flights and having to transit onward to a third country, Indonesia. What impressed me was when a document pouch was misplaced (no fault of FH), they spared no effort to search for it across the different parties involved and was located the next day, I was offered if someone needs to fly over to expedite the documents to us so as not to delay the remains' clearance at the third country. The remains finally arrived as initially scheduled, FH's documentation preparation for the next party to take over was flawless! One can count on Flying Home when the need arises. They take away your stresses, you can focus on higher priority tasks.

I’d love to give ten stars to Ang and his team! We had this difficult case of transporting casket from Bhutan to Singapore then to Surabaya. Everything was handled so well and professional, still can’t believe this is even possible. Only three days for the whole process! They are really went through all the trouble and managed to bring the casket back safely and sound to Surabaya. Once again, thank you, Ang and team!
